Art in many forms has been a driving force in my life from the moment I picked up a crayon.  Growing up on a farm in rural Arkansas offered the opportunity to fill up countless Big Chief tablets with my own version of a personal graphic novel.  This was quite an accomplishment for a young child, but I have the original drawings to prove it!

I graduated from University of Central Arkansas with a degree in commercial art and theatre.  My degrees took me in a variety of careers, from disc jockey, community theatre, to rubber stamp company owner and currently working with adults with disabilities.  Always, art has been in the foreground, sustaining me through good and not so good times along life’s journey.

My art has evolved from painting murals in children’s rooms and creating rubber stamp designs to my present fascination with recycled and cast off fabrics and clothing.  I am fascinated with the challenge of taking something no longer used and turning it into something new and wonderful.  If I can make an original piece of art that’s also functional, so much the better!

Much of the art you see here is already sold or unavailable.  Some of it may already be reincarnated into a different piece of art.  If something catches your eye and you want to know if it’s for sale, or you just have a question about it, please contact me.
